Terahertz technologies for imaging, sensing and societal applications

Dotnac

History of DOTNAC EU Project

DOTNAC was an european projet from September 2010 to August 2013 focusing on non-destructive quality control of fiberglass compounds and paint coatings. This project shown that terahertz waves can reliably detect defective adhesive joints, foreign objects or air bubbles in the material. Both FMCW and TDS were used in this project.

Projet partners :

Royal Military Academy, Belgium
Verhaert New Products & Services , Belgium
Support, Belgium
Technische Universität Kaiserslautern, Germany
